SacAnime is “Where Fans Come to Play”, and also where they come to dance! Our music events provide a variety of options, including competitive dance battles, light night electronica, social dance events, and live concerts from fan-favorites.

SacAnime Late Night

SacAnime Late Night is a live music programming event consisting of musical performances and DJs in a fun, safe atmosphere. This event takes place both Friday and Saturday nights, and is open to all registered attendees with valid wristbands.

Dance Policies

  • Shoes AND shirts must be worn at all times.
  • No photographers (professional grade cameras) will be allowed into the event without approval from the Press Liaison.
  • Attendees under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an older sibling or guardian.

Live Concerts – SacLive Stage

The SacLive Stage, located right in the center of the second floor, is home to the SacAnime Concert series, featuring performers from all your favorite fan-fueled genres. Please see the program guide for concert schedule.

Starlight Ball – Saturday Only

Whip out your fanciest clothes or formal cosplay, and dance the night away at the Starlight Ball. More of a “Geek Prom” than a formal ball, this event features music from your favorite games, anime, and pop-culture entertainment, remixed into smooth tunes by SacAnime DJs. There is no strict dress code, but formal dress or formal versions of cosplays are encouraged – our Starlight Ball staff will be handing out prizes throughout the evening!

This is a ticketed event, and VIP Pass holders will receive a discount. Tickets will go on sale directly outside the Starlight Ball one hour before it opens. The Starlight Ball takes place in the Cafe Hoshi room, Saturday night only, from 9pm to 11pm.

If you want to learn some dance moves to impress your friends at the Starlight Ball, we will be hosting Dance Workshops in the room right next to Cafe Hoshi on Friday and Saturday.
