Griffin Burns’ Band New New Girlfriend performing @SacAnime

Griffin Burns’ Band, New New Girlfriend, will be performing at SacAnime Saturday night at 7:30pm. New New Girlfriend is an LA based alt / pop rock band comprised of SoCal native Kylen Deporter and east coast transplant Griffin Burns. The duo “met cute” while on a double date with two girls named Alexa. The Alexa’s didn’t last but the musical bromance burns bright. Their music is rich in harmony, lyrically driven, and upbeat yet melancholy – living somewhere between Jimmy Eat World and Weezer…EZJim if you will.
