SacAnime Summer 2026 Welcomes Kevin Del Aguila

KEVIN DEL AGUILA is an Emmy-winning writer, Tony-nominated actor, and lyricist for the stage and screen. He’s the voice of Baxter in the animated series Hazbin Hotel on Amazon Prime Video, Mac/Dragon/Toad in the PBS series Peg + Cat, and has guest-starred on the TV shows Law & Order: SVU and Deadbeat.

Broadway audiences will recognize him from the original casts of Some Like It Hot (Drama Desk Award, Tony nomination for his performance as Osgood), Frozen (as Oaken), Peter and the Starcatcher (as Smee), Rocky (as everybody in Philadelphia), and Yellow Face, which was broadcast on PBS Great Performances in 2025. He’s appeared Off-Broadway in Little Shop of Horrors, Love’s Labour’s Lost (Shakespeare in the Park), Jacques Brel, and God Bless You Mr. Rosewater with James Earl Jones.

Kevin served as head writer for Blue’s Clues and You for NickJr and the Clifford the Big Red Dog reboot for Amazon/PBS, and has written for numerous kids’ TV shows including Red Fish Blue Fish, Waffles + Mochi’s Restaurant, Blaze and the Monster Machines, and Wonder Pets! He’s the book-writer the Off-Broadway hit Altar Boyz (Outer Critics Award), and his musical stage adaptations include the DreamWorks film Madagascar, the wildly popular Diary Of A Wimpy Kid books, Click Clack Moo, as well as the Dog Man and Cat Kid Comic Club book series. His lyrics have appeared in songs from the Disney movie Strange World and children everywhere have heard Kevin’s voice as a singing Troll in the Disney blockbuster film Frozen. @kevinoftheeagle
