Registration Frequently Asked Questions

  • Refund and Transfer tickets to the Next Show
    We do not offer refunds for our convention, and as of Summer 2025 we are no longer allowing rollover for past tickets.

    Tickets purchased online though our ticketing partner (Ticketspice) have “ticket insurance” available for an additional fee, that can allow you a refund if you meet specific criteria, listed on their website.

    Starting at the Summer 2025 show, tickets purchased in person at the merchandise booth will be valid for a show occurring in the following year (i.e. buy at Summer 2025, good for either SacAnime show occurring in 2026).

  • Transferring Tickets to another name:
    SacAnime does not check IDs. Anyone may use a valid Pre-Registration ticket. They just need to present the barcode either printed out or on a smartphone to the Pre-Registration Staff when they arrive at the Sheraton Grand for the show. The ticket(s) will be exchanged for wristbands and/or badges.

  • Name Change Single and Multiple Tickets:
    Due to SacAnime’s ticketing system, all tickets are issued in the name of the purchaser. This will not prevent anyone from attending the show. They will present their ticket when they arrive at the Pre-Registration room at the Sheraton Grand. The staff will redeem it for a wristband. We are unable to change the name on the ticket.

  • Local VIP Inquiry
    At this time, a hotel reservation confirmation is required to purchase a VIP ticket. There is a limited amount of VIP upgrades available when registration opens on Thursday at 4pm, for an additional fee for people who do not book a hotel room.

  • Mailing Tickets
    We do not mail out tickets. Once you purchase your tickets, you will be emailed a confirmation receipt. At the bottom of the email is a link that states ‘Print Your Tickets’. You will need to print your tickets and bring them with you to the show.
